ABOUT PUNJAB INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (PIT), Kapurthala

PIT, Kaputhala is one of the Institutions developed under the aegis of PTU to promote Technical Education, Research and Employment in Punjab, at par with IITs. This Institute is the is the constituent Institute of Punjab Technical University.

 Location of the PIT

PIT is located at Jalandhar- Kapurthala Highway near PTU Main campus, about 6 km from Kapurthala and 13 km from Jalandhar. Buses are easily available from Jalandhar and Kapurthala to reach the campus.

 Scholarship

PIT also offers scholarship to GATE qualified students as per AICTE / IIT norms i.e. Rs. 8000/- per month.
